The Aesthetic Mind based at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and the University of Göttingen (Germany). The members of the group work together on issues in aesthetics, philosophy of mind, epistemology, normativity, literature, and literary theory. The departments involved in the research group include, in Fribourg, the Department of German Literature and the Department of Philosophy and, in Göttingen, the Seminar für Deutsche Philologie. The group is also closely affiliated with the Experience & Reason Research Group (EXRE) at the University of Fribourg. The research projects of the group are generously funded by the Swiss National Science Foundationand the German Research Foundation.
