Guest Talk: Michael Brady on "A Philosophical Approach to Improving Theorising about Post-traumatic Growth"

The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Health Sciences and Medicine will be welcoming Michael Brady, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Glasgow to Lucerne this Autumn.

His visit is dedicated to his current research, in which he examines how psychology and philosophy can mutually support each other to better understand the phenomenon of post-traumatic growth.

Everyone interested is welcome to join for his guest talk titled "A Philosophical Approach to Improving Theorising about Post-traumatic Growth” on October 11th. It will take place at 6.15 p.m. in room HS10, University of Lucerne Main Building (right next to the train station in Lucerne).


(Post-)doctoral students can also sign up for Prof. Brady’s accompanying workshop “The Philosophy of Post-traumatic Growth” that will take place on October 12th until Monday, September 26th.
