Postdoctoral Fellowship in Aesthetics&Philosophy of Art

Applications are invited for a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship (66%) in Aesthetics and Philosophy of art at the Université de Fribourg, Switzerland

• PhD degree in philosophy
• Very good proficiency of either French or German, and at least a passive knowledge of the other of these. Excellent English proficiency
• Research project in the field of aesthetics (possibly related to the work of Prof. Emmanuel Alloa)

• Teaching one semester-long BA-seminar either in French or in German
• Supporting research activities at the chair for aesthetics and philosophy of art as well as at the research group Aesthetics&Critique

CHF 52'017-62'828 per annum, depending on prior experience

1st September 2025 - 31st August 2026
